I love traveling, and I LOVE taking photographs of the places I travel! While I wouldn’t consider myself a professional, I do have a knowledge of photography and how my camera works. There is some photography equipment that I must have with me on vacation in order to take my desired photographs. It’s flu season again… and this year it has been a doozy!!!! I feel like my kids have been sick for months! Toddlers love their independence! They also love to help around the house. We do our best to nurture their need to do things on their own. We put essential clothing in the lower drawers so our toddler can pick out his own clothes, and we give him a lot of choices so he can feel like he’s picking his own food and activities. He loves picking out his own books at story time, and even turns the pages for me as I read! Here are some of the items we love that have helped our little one’s independence shine!

I love wine, so Napa was the obvious choice when we were trying to decide where to go for our second anniversary. We stayed at the RiverPointe Napa Valley Resort. The resort was on the banks of the Napa River, and was quiet and secluded, though only a couple minutes from the Oxbow District. Our accommodations were a cute little trailer cottage with a bedroom, full kitchen, living room, and bath. It was comfortable and clean. There was a river walk to stroll down, and restaurants within walking distance.
